Hereford Local news from the BBC – The preferred route for Hereford’s new foot and cycle path, which includes a river bridge, has been unveiled.
A recommendation has been made by Herefordshire Council to use the Fisherman’s Car Park route.
Councillor Brian Wilcox, Herefordshire Council’s cabinet member for highways and transportation said:
“We are delighted that…a scheme can be delivered along the Fisherman’s Car Park route within the required timescales and within budget.
“Over the coming weeks, we will be consulting with residents close to the routes, stakeholders and other interested parties to help inform the decision on which of the three route options to pursue through the planning application stages this spring.”
